Amalfi Coast — one of Europe's most spectacular coastlines —
as we spend a fun-filled week with a true insider's perspective. The
uniqueness of this program truly sets apart this Italy tour for gay
travelers. Local families of the area (including a renowned professional
chef) invite us into their own homes for cooking sessions (and to admire
their fabulous views along the Amalfi Coast), and we also enjoy some
easy-going (optional) walks to tucked-away, untrampled points of interest
in the dramatic mountains offering stunning views along the coast. Of
course, we’ll have to make stops at some of the Amalfi Coast’s
most delightful villages — Ravello, Amalfi, Positano.
But we’ve also incorporated some lesser-known sights that most
visitors will never see. A very special visit to long-famous Capri
is also featured. We've even incorporated an in-depth look at one of
the world's most incredible archeological sites — the excavations
of the ancient Roman city of Pompei. |

Our cooking sessions are fun and informal as we learn about the delicious kinds of pasta, main courses, and desserts that are typical in this part of Italy. We won’t get bogged down in complicated meals; you’ll see how straightforward and enjoyable Italian cooking can be! Each day our easy-going and very personable
guide (a true aficionado of good food!) will open our eyes to the marvels
of this area — from the 3000-year-old, culture-steeped, bustling
metropolis of Naples to the breathtaking beauty of
the Amalfi Coast. |
